Kerala SET July 2024 registration deadline extended again; apply by April 30

The Kerala SET July 2024 is scheduled to be held on July 28 and the admit card will be out on July 17.
NEW DELHI: The LBS Centre for Science and Technology has extended the registration deadline for the Kerala State Eligibility Test (KSET) July 2024 for the second time. Eligible candidates will now be able to fill out the Kerala SET July 2024 application form by April 30.
The Kerala SET July 2024 is scheduled to be held on July 28 and the admit card will be out on July 17. The Kerala SET exam is conducted to recruit higher secondary school teachers and non-vocational teachers in Vocational Higher Secondary Education (VHSE).
Initially, the deadline for filling out the Kerala SET application form for the July session was April 15, 2024, but it was extended to April 25, 2024. Eligible candidates should fill out the application form by visiting the official website, lbscentre.kerala.gov.in.
The institute will activate the Kerala SET July 2024 application form correction window link on May 3. The link will remain activated for three days till May 5. Candidates will be able to edit the Kerala SET July 2024 application form during this period.
Candidates belonging to the unreserved (UR) and other backward classes (OBC) categories need to pay an application fee of Rs 1,000 for registering for the Kerala SET July 2024. On the other hand, candidates from scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), and persons with disabilities (PwD) are required to pay Rs 500. The deadline for fee payment is May 2.

Kerala SET July 2024: Eligibility criteria
Candidates should fulfil the requirements given below to be eligible for the Kerala SET July 2024 exam.

Candidates should have a master's degree in the subject concerned with not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade.

Candidates should have a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree in any discipline from any one of the universities in Kerala or have acquired these qualifications from any other university recognized as equivalent.

Candidates who have obtained a Diploma in Elementary Education (DLEd) or Language Teachers Training Course (LTTC) in Arabic, Urdu, and Hindi, but do not possess a Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree, are eligible to apply for the Kerala State Eligibility Test (SET) July 2024.

There is no age limit criteria to apply for Kerala SET July 2024.

For OBC Non-Creamy Layer Candidates, it is mandatory to obtain and submit a Non-Creamy Layer Certificate dated between March 17, 2023, and May 5, 2024. Certificates outside this date range will not be considered valid.
