NEW DELHI: The KIET Group of Institutions and Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited have collaborated to establish centre of excellence for providing technical programme based on advanced and practical learning for the budding technocrats of India. The programme designed, and developed by TATA Power-DDL will offer all-round exposure to participants in terms of theoretical knowledge, hands-on experience, industrial skills and career-building opportunities.
The primary aim of this partnership is to provide mutual support to each other, i.e., Tata Power-DDL and the KIET Group of Institutions, in establishing a high-quality talent repository in power engineering technologies and related fields. The students with a research mindset will also be provided opportunities to be part of functional projects identified through talent-100 and talent highway platforms available at Tata Power-DDL.
As part of the diploma, BTech, and MTech curriculum, both organizations will host standalone single-session webinars addressing advanced engineering topics for students and faculty members. These training sessions will consist of modules such as theory and video lectures, hands-on sessions and discussions.
Speaking on the collaboration, Praveen Agrawal, Chief HR and IR, Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited, said: “Tata Power Delhi Distribution envisions to nurture the future talent in the power sector by offering its knowledge and expertise.
