KIIT School of Management: 259 MBA students placed; highest salary at Rs 23 lakh

NEW DELHI: The Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT)’s School of Management (KSOM) is conducting MBA placements 2021-22. Of the 323 students who participated in the ongoing MBA placements, 259 have been placed successfully. So far, the highest annual salary package bagged by the students in KSOM MBA placements is Rs 23 lakh per annum. There are around 336 students in the MBA programme of KIIT School of Management.

The average salary this year in the KSOM MBA placements is Rs 7.10 lakhs whereas it was Rs 6.87 lakhs last year.
114 companies participated in the placement drive of KIIT School of Management which included 57 first-time recruiters. The companies made 278 offers for 259 students and the financial sector made the highest number of offers, according to an official statement from the institute.
The highest recruiting domain, profile and function in KSOM MBA placements is marketing and management with Deloitte being the top recruiter.

Some of the top companies which participated in the placements are Deloitte, PwC, Neilsen IQ, Nestle, ICICI Lombard, Brandscapes Worldwide, L&T Finance, HUL, Times Group, Motilal Oswal, TCS-HR, EY GDS, HDFC Bank, Asian Paints, Godrej, Ericcson, KPMG etc.
KIIT School of Management (KSOM), Bhubaneswar is one of the management schools of India with a management ranking of 31 as per the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2021. KSOM is a part of KIIT Deemed to be University. The MBA programme of KIIT School of Management (KSOM) is approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). It is also accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) of AICTE.
