KIIT University Placements: Highest package at Rs 62 lakh; Over 3,600 job offers made

The university has witnessed an increase in the average package by Rs 8.5 lakh, while the highest package has touched Rs 62 lakh.
NEW DELHI: KIIT Deemed University, Bhubaneswar, is set to achieve 100 percent placement as 3,600 job offers by 280 companies are already in place for a batch size of 28,00 eligible BTech students. As many as 1,100 students of the university have received multiple job offers.
The university has witnessed an increase in the average package by Rs 8.5 lakh, while the highest package has touched Rs 62 lakh. As many as 82 companies visited the campus offering annual pay packages of more than Rs 10 lakh. About 1500 students were placed in companies with CTC of Rs 15 lakh or more. While 1,000 students have been placed with packages ranging from Rs 10 to 15 lakh.
"Day-zero campus drives alone resulted in the placement of 1,700 plus students by top-notch MNCs. Day-one campus recruitment drive this season generated about 700 job offers from four companies: Accenture, Cognizant, Capgemini, and TCS," reads an official statement.
The university's MBA flagship programme has also recorded 100 percent placement this year. The 230 students out of the total strength of 300 have already bagged job offers from 50 companies. KIIT facilitates the academic placement of about 500 students every year in reputed national and international institutions for higher studies.
While thanking participating companies and team training and placement for the excellent placement performance, Professor Saranjit Singh,
Pro-Vice Chancellor, KIIT said: "We are completely assured that we will be able to provide careers to all deserving students and will achieve cent percent placements like all previous years."
