KMAT Kerala 2026 session 2 registration deadline extended till May 14 for MBA, PGDM admissions

The Commissioner for Entrance Exam (CEE) Kerala has extended the last date to register for the Kerala Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) 2026 session 2 application form for admission to MBA and PGDM programmes. Eligible candidates can now apply for the KMAT Kerala 2026 by tomorrow through the official website at cee.kerala.gov.in/kmatonline2026.

The KMAT Kerala application fee payment and document upload will close on the same day. To complete the KMAT Kerala 2026 application form, general category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 1,000 before the last date, while reserved category candidates have to pay Rs 500.

In KMAT Kerala 2026, General and SEBC category candidates need at least 72 marks out of 720 to qualify for admission. Candidates from other categories need at least 54 marks to pass the KMAT Kerala exam.

CEE has not yet announced the KMAT Kerala 2026 session 2 exam date. However, the exam is expected to be held in the last week of May 2026. Earlier, the last date to submit the KMAT Kerala session 2 application was May 10.

KMAT Kerala 2026 eligibility criteria

Below are the eligibility criteria to fill out the KMAT Kerala application form 2026.

  • Nationality: Both Indian and non-Indian candidates can apply for KMAT Kerala 2026. However, only Keralite candidates can get reservation benefits or fee concessions.
  • Age Limit: There is no age limit for the exam.
  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed a Bachelor’s degree of at least three years in Arts, Science, Engineering, Commerce, Management, or an equivalent course.

Students appearing for the final year of their degree can also apply for KMAT Kerala 2026.

Candidates must also meet the minimum marks required for MBA admission by the university they want to apply to.

KMAT 2026 exam pattern

The KMAT Kerala 2026 exam will have 180 questions for a total of 720 marks across four sections — English Language and Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, Data Sufficiency and Logical Reasoning, and General Knowledge and Current Affairs. The first three sections will have 50 questions each, while the GK section will have 40 questions.

As per the KMAT Kerala 2026 marking scheme, candidates will get 4 marks for every correct answer, while 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
