Kolkata police constable result 2026 out; 47,943 candidates shortlisted for PMT, PET

The West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) has announced the preliminary written test KP result for the recruitment of constables and lady constables in Kolkata Police 2024. As per the WBPRB Kolkata police constable result 2026, a total of 47,943 candidates have been shortlisted to appear for the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

Candidates can check the Kolkata police result on the official websites of WBPRB at prb.wb.gov.in. To access the KP constable result 2026, candidates need to enter their application serial number and date of birth and select their permanent district or state.

According to the WBPRB KP constable result notice, the shortlisted candidates include 43,766 male candidates and 4,177 female candidates. Candidates shortlisted in the preliminary written test will have to appear for the PMT and PET, which are scheduled to commence on October 28, 2026.

Candidates can follow the steps below to check their preliminary written test results:

• Visit the WBPRB official website, prb.wb.gov.in, wbpolice.gov.in or kolkatapolice.gov.in.
• Click the link for the Kolkata Police Constable and Lady Constable recruitment 2024 result.
• Enter the application serial number and date of birth.
• Select the permanent district or state as required.
• Submit the details to view the KP constable result.
• Download or print the Kolkata police result details for future reference.

The board will release the Kolkata police admit cards for the PMT and PET on October 15, 2026 to the shortlisted candidates in the Kolkata police result PDF. Candidates will be able to download their admit cards through the recruitment portal, wbprb.applythrunet.co.in.

Candidates must carry a printed copy of their Kolkata police PMT and PET admit card to the venue. Entry to the test arena will not be permitted without the required admit card.
