NEW DELHI: The University of Mysore has rescheduled the Karnataka State Eligibility Test 2021 exam to July 25. Previously the KSET 2021 exam was supposed to be held on April 11 but it was postponed due to the second wave of COVID 19 pandemic.

The KSET 2021 exam will be conducted in 11 test cities of Karnataka. The KSET admit card 2021 will be released soon. Candidates must ensure that they download the KSET admit card and carry a valid photo identity proof to the test centre and also adhere to the COVID 19 guidelines.

KSET Exam Pattern 2021

The KSET 2021 exam pattern includes the mode in which the entrance test will take place and the total number of questions that will be asked in the KSET 2021 exam. According to the KSET 2021 exam pattern, there will be two papers and in both the papers candidates will have to answer multiple choice questions.

KSET 2021 exam will be conducted in two sessions. Paper 1 will be of one hour wherein the candidates will have to answer 50 multiple choice questions and the maximum marks out of which they would be evaluated is 100. Paper 1 of KSET 2021 exam will be general in nature and it will assess the candidate’s reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness. Also the exam will evaluate the candidate’s research and teaching aptitude.

Paper 2 of the KSET 2021 exam will be of two hours duration in which candidates will have to answer 100 multiple choice questions. Candidates will be evaluated out of total 200 marks.

For both paper 1 and paper 2, candidates will have to mark the responses in the Optical Marks Reader (OMR) Sheet which will be provided to the candidates along with the KSET 2021 question booklet.
