KSET 2026 registration process begins at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/; pattern

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has opened the registration window for the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) 2026 on the official website of KEA at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/. Aspirants can login using the details, including application number/email id/mobile number and password.

The last date to submit the application form is September 5, 2026. Applicants can make the payment till September 6, 2026. The KSET application process is for candidates who want to become assistant professors in universities and higher educational institutions across Karnataka.

As per the official schedule, the KSET 2026 hall ticket will be out on October 1, 2026 and the exam will be conducted on October 11, 2026 from 10 am to 1 pm. The KSET 2026 examination will be OMR-based in offline mode and there will be a total of 37 subjects.

Karnataka KSET Registration 2026: Steps to apply

To submit the application form for the KSET 2026, candidates can follow the steps given below:

• Visit the official website of KEA at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/
• On the main page, go to the KSET 2026 registration link
• Enter the details, including application number/email id/mobile number and password
• Fill out the name, academic qualification, other details
• Select the KSET subject and test center, upload the asked documents and then submit
• Make the payment and then submit
• Download the confirmation application and take a printout for further reference

KSET Registration 2026: Application fees

As per the notice, the examination fees depend on the candidate's category. Applicants who belong to general/II-A/II-B/III-A/III-B and aspirants from other states have to pay Rs 750 and candidates who belong to SC-A/SC-B/SC-C/ST/PwD need to pay Rs 500 in online mode. The examination fees will not be refunded under any circumstances.
