NEW DELHI: The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan will conduct the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET 2023) on December 29 and 30. Applicants can download the KTET 2023 admit card on the official website, ktet.kerala.gov.in.
The Pareeksha Bhavan will hold the KTET category 1 and 2 exams from 10 am to 12.30 pm and 2 pm to 4.30 pm, respectively, on December 29. On December 30, KTET Category 3 and 4 exams will be conducted from 10 am to 12.30 pm and 2 pm to 4.30 pm, respectively.
The Kerala TET is the eligibility test for the teachers’ recruitment exams in the state. The exam will be held for four categories - lower primary, upper primary, high school, language teachers Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit and Urdu. The examination authority said
Candidates who have qualified the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) primary stage will be exempted from KTET category 1. CTET elementary stage qualified candidates will not have to appear for KTET category 2, it added.
Candidates who have passed the NET, SET, MPhil, PhD, MEd will be exempted from appearing in category 1 to 4. Those clearing KTET category 3 will be eligible for recruitment exams under the KTET category 2 as well.
KTET 2023 exam will have 150 questions of one mark each in five categories – child development and pedagogy, mathematics, environmental studies, first language and language 2. The marking scheme will be as under:
