KTET 2024 registration ends today; correction facility from May 4

NEW DELHI: The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan (KPV) will close the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) registration 2024 today, May 2. Interested and eligible candidates can fill out the KTET 2024 application form by visiting the official website, ktet.kerala.gov.in.

Candidates will have the chance to edit their KTET 2024 application forms after submission. The KTET 2024 application correction facility will be available from May 4 to May 7.

The KTET 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on June 22 and 23. The KTET 2024 will be held in two shifts- from 10 am to 12: 30 pm and from 2 to 4:30 pm. Candidates are required to carry their KTET 2024 admit card and a valid photo Id to the exam centre. The KTET 2024 admit card will be issued on June 3.

The KTET 2024 examination comprises four papers, each catering to different teaching categories. Category 1 is designed for teachers handling lower primary classes, category 2 for upper primary classes, category 3 for high school classes, and category 4 for language instructors, encompassing Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu, specialized teachers, and physical education instructors.

KTET 2024 application fee

Candidates are required to pay the application fee to complete the KTET 2024 registration process. The KTET 2024 application fee for general candidates is Rs 500. On the other hand, for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Physically Handicapped (PH) categories, the KTET application fee 2024 is Rs 250.

KTET 2024 exam pattern

The KTET 2024 examination will be conducted offline, with a duration of 150 minutes. Each paper of the KTET 2024 exam is worth a total of 150 marks, and candidates will earn one mark for every correct answer, with no deductions for incorrect responses. Each paper will contain 150 multiple-choice questions tailored to the specific category.
