NEW DELHI: The Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India application for the internship programme for LLB interns last date to apply is today, August 22 till 5.30 pm. Eligible candidates can fill the LLB internship application form through the official website, legalaffairs.gov.in.

Eligibility for the LLB internship programme is that the students should have passed the second year of the three-year law degree programme and the third year of the five-year law degree or candidates who have completed a law degree from any recognized college, law school, or university are also eligible. According to the ministry, candidates having advanced knowledge of computers like MS Office, infographics, adobe, etc will be preferred.
The LLB internship programme will be for one month and will commence on the first working day of every month unless specified by the ministry. Interns will be selected through a written examination conducted by Indian Law Institute (ILI), Delhi.

Applicants will have to submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective college or university. Those who have completed their law graduation need not submit the NOC and will have to upload the final year certificate only as per the official notification from the law ministry.
Interns will have to submit a monthly report along with the research work assigned in the respective department at the end of the internship programme.

Visit the official website, legalaffairs.gov.in/internship
Under the homepage click on the ‘Application form’ link.
Fill up the form online and upload the required documents.
Check the declaration box and submit.
Download the form and save it for future reference.
On the successful completion of the internship, certificates will be issued by the ministry. An official statement from the ministry read, ” For satisfactory completion, inter-alia, 90% attendance is mandatory and satisfactory remarks from the concerned authority (authority who assigned the work). This is a full-time internship to be attended physically and the interns are not expected to pursue any other course/work during the tenure of Internship. ”
