London School of Economics begins first online batch of executive business analytics

NEW DELHI: The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) has partnered with FourthRev and launched its first batch of the Executive Business Analytics certificate programme today, September 25. The LSE business executive programme aims to meet the growing global demand for data-driven decision-making. The admissions for the business analytics certificate programme are now open for registration.

The programme is designed to equip professionals with the advanced skills needed in business analytics, addressing the need for expertise in this rapidly expanding field, the LSE statement said.

The programme will continue for 10 months and features a comprehensive curriculum crafted by LSE’s faculty and industry experts. It aims to empower professionals seeking to enhance their skills in data analytics, artificial intelligence, critical thinking, leadership, and business strategy.

Students will learn how to critically analyze business concepts, perform data wrangling for efficient data management, and deliver impactful communications through a structured problem-solving approach, added the LSE statement.

Executive Business Analytics certificate programme

The programme features three live masterclass sessions with the esteemed LSE faculty. Additionally, students will be engaged in asynchronous, project-based learning with practical applications, complemented by fortnightly live interactive sessions with industry experts.

Students will receive comprehensive training in tools various such as Tableau, SQL, Excel, and Python. Students will also have an opportunity to work on a Capstone project and use their skills in real-world business scenarios, adds LSE note.

Executive Business Analytics: Modules

The programme’s three comprehensive modules include — data analytics for business; data analytics with python and advanced analytics for organisational impact. The topics will equip students with essential skills for today’s business environment.

The programme includes four expert-led workshops focusing on using Generative AI to derive meaningful insights from data. These modules will enhance professional’s cross-functional skill sets, fostering the development of new-age competencies essential for the modern business ecosystem, the LSE official note adds.

James Abdey, associate professor at the department of statistics at LSE and programme coordinator highlighted the collaboration and said: “Through our online degree and executive education programmes, LSE is on a mission to democratise access to world-class education, equipping professionals with the essential skills needed to navigate our complex business landscape.
