MAH BCA, BBA, BMS, BBM CET 2024 registration begins tomorrow; eligibility, fee

NEW DELHI: The state Common Entrance Test (CET) cell, Maharashtra has announced the schedule for MAH BCA, BBA, BMS, BBM CET 2024 for admission to BCA, BBA, BMS, and BBM programmes for the academic session 2024-25. Accordingly, the registration for the exam will begin tomorrow, March 21. The CET will be conducted for the first time, the cell said. The last date to apply for the exam is April 11, 2024.
The cell informed that the syllabus and information brochure are available on the official website and the exam date will be announced shortly. The state technical education department approved the courses after the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) brought them under its jurisdiction.
As per the eligibility criteria, students must have passed Class 12 (HSC) or its equivalent examination. Candidates appearing for Class 12 or its equivalent exam are also eligible.
MAH B BCA, BBA BMS, BBM CET 2024: Fee
The application fee for the CET exam for various categories is given below:
Category | Fee |
For open category candidates from Maharashtra state, Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), J and K migrant candidates | Rs 1,000 |
For candidates of backward class categories [SC, ST, VJ/DT- NT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, EWS] and Persons with Disability Candidates belonging to Maharashtra only | Rs 800 |
Applicants will be required to submit the following documents at the the time of Centralised Admission Process (CAP), if applicable:
- Caste certificate
- Caste validity certificate
- Non-creamy layer certificate
- EWS certificate
- PwD certificate
MAH B BCA, BBA BMS, BBM CET 2024: Exam pattern
As per the exam pattern, the question paper of MAH B BCA, BBA, BMS, BBM CET 2024 will comprise of 100 multiple-choice questions based on reasoning, English, and general awareness. The duration of the online exam will be 90 minutes and there will be no negative marking.
