MAH CET 2024 non-cap registration deadline extended for BTech, MTech, MBA programmes

NEW DELHI: The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has extended the registration deadline for admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate technical courses through the non-Common Admission Process (CAP) for the academic year 2024-25. Eligible candidates can register for the admission process through the official website at cetcell.mahacet.org.

As per the revised schedule, the last date for applications for available seats in postgraduate courses, including Master of Engineering (ME), Master of Technology (MTech), Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Management Studies (MMS) is set for October 23, 2024.

Candidates seeking admission to the Master of Architecture (MArch) programme should apply by October 21, 2024. The previous deadline for registration for these programmes was October 1.

In undergraduate programmes, candidates can apply for Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Bachelor of Technology (BTech) till October 23, 2024, while the last date for Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) applications is October 21, 2024.

Candidates interested in securing admissions for the remaining seats post-CAP are required to complete the registration, document verification, and confirmation either through e-scrutiny or by visiting the institution. As per the official notice, the registration window for non-CAP seats will remain open till 1 pm on the respective last dates. Document verification and confirmation procedures will continue till 3 pm.

Deadline extension for other courses

The State Common Entrance Test Cell has also extended the admission deadline for Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Business Management (BBM), and Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) courses for the academic year 2024-25.

The CET cell informed that due to many candidates not confirming their admissions, the online admissions deadline has now been extended to October 3, 2024. Candidates must visit their respective institutions to confirm their admissions during this period.
