MAH CET registration deadline extended for BEd-MEd integrated course; apply by February 18

NEW DELHI: The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has extended the registration deadline for the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MAH CET) 2025 for the Bachelor of Education-Master of Education (BEd-MEd) degree programme. Eligible candidates can register for MAH CET BEd-MEd 2025 courses till February 18.
The CET cell commenced the registration process for the MAH BEd-MEd integrated CET 2025 on January 6, 2025, and the initial registration deadline was February 6, 2025. In the official notice, the CET Cell stated that it received requests from candidates and parents regarding an extension for the form filling of CET 2025 for the BEd-MEd course.
“Hence, considering the academic interest of the candidates, CET cell has decided to give the first extension for online Registration and Application Form Filling for the courses,” the official notice said. The detailed MAH CET BEd-MEd course extension notice is available on the official website at cetcell.mahacet.org. The MAH BEd-MEd integrated CET 2025 exam is tentatively scheduled to be held on March 28, 2025.
MAH CET BEd-MEd 2025: Guidelines for photograph, signature upload
The CET Cell has outlined the guidelines for uploading the photograph and signature scans in its information brochure. Before applying online, candidates should scan (digitally) their recent photograph and signature according to the specifications provided below:
Photograph
- The photograph must be recent, passport size, in colour and taken against a light-coloured background, preferably white.
- The preferred dimensions are 200 x 230 pixels. The size should be 2 inches x 2 inches (51 mm x 51 mm).
- The size of the photo file should be between 20kb and 50kb.
- Make sure the photo presents a full head from the top of the hair to the bottom of the chin; the height of the head should measure 1 inch to 1‐3/8 inches (25 mm to 35 mm). Make sure eye height is between 1‐1/8 inches to 1‐3.
- Photographs with caps, hats, or dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious headwear is allowed, but it must not cover the face. The face should be clearly visible.
Signature
- Candidates must sign on white paper using a black ink pen.
- The preferred dimensions are 140 x 60 pixels.
- The file size should be between 10kb and 20kb.
- Signatures in capital letters will not be accepted.
- The signature on the call letter and attendance sheet must match the uploaded signature. Any mismatch may lead to disqualification.
