MAH CET registration deadline extended for NRI, FNS candidates; technical courses admissions from August 23

Try NowThe State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has extended the registration deadline for NRI, OCI, PIO, CIWGC and FNS candidates seeking admission to technical and fine art education courses for the 2025-26 academic year. Eligible candidates can register for the technical and fine art education courses admission through the official website at fn.mahacet.org.

As per the official notice, for technical education courses, the last date for online registration and payment of the one-time processing fee is August 22, 2025. Earlier, the last date to register for the technical education and fine art education courses admission was August 3, which was later extended to August 17.
The State CET Cell will conduct the admission process for Non-Resident Indian (NRI) candidates separately from September 6 to 13. The admission process for Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), Person of Indian Origin (PIO), Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries (CIWGC) and Foreign National Students (FNS) will be conducted from August 23 to September 5.
The registration and fee payment deadline for fine art education courses is August 17, 2025. The admission process for all NRI , OCI, PIO, CIWGC, and FNS candidates will take place from August 18 to 25.
The notice further states that during the admission process, colleges are required to verify applications and documents, publish merit and waitlists, confirm seats after fee payment, and update admission status on the portal. Candidates will have to accept the offered seat and complete payment within the specified dates.

Maharashtra Technical Course Admission 2025: Documents required
Candidates applying under the NRI category for Maharashtra technical course admissions 2025 are required to submit the following supporting documents for verification.
- Passport-sized photograph
- Passport or country ID of the candidate
- Candidate’s signature
- SSC (Class 10) marksheet or passing certificate
- HSC (Class 12) marksheet or passing certificate
- Passing certificate
- Birth certificate
- Migration certificate (at the time of admission)
- Proof of residence of NRI
- True copy of the foreign bank account passbook (last 6 months) of the candidate/parent
- Certificate issued by an Indian Mission/Post abroad confirming the NRI status of the candidate/parent
- Passport of the parent or guardian
