MAH MHMCT CET 2024 registration begins at cetcell.mahacet.org; exam pattern

NEW DELHI: The State Common Entrance Test Cell Maharashtra has begun the registration process for the Maharashtra Master in Hotel Management and Catering Technology Common Entrance Test (MAH MHMCT CET) 2024 today. May 9. Eligible candidates should fill out the MAH MHMCT CET 2024 application form through the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org.

According to the schedule, the registration window for MAH MHMCT CET 2024 will remain open for seven days until May 15. The detailed examination schedule will be shared on the respective course's homepage in due course.

Candidates from the unreserved (UR) category from Maharashtra state, outside Maharashtra state are required to pay an application fee of Rs 1,000 to register for the MAH MHMCT CET 2024. Candidates from scheduled caste (SC), scheduled tribe (ST), other backward class (OBC), special backward class (SBC), economically weaker section (EWS), person with disability (PWD), belonging to Maharashtra state only, orphan, and transgender are required to pay Rs 800.

To be eligible for the MAH MHMCT CET 2024 exam, candidates should have passed Class 12 with at least 45% marks. Candidates from the reserved category must have scored at least 40% in Class 12.

The CET cell has also begun the registration process for the MAH MPlanning integrated CET 2024 exam. “Exam date of MAH MPlanning Integrated CET 2024 will be scheduled on May 25,” the official notice read.

MAH MHMCT CET 2024: Exam pattern

The MAH MHMCT CET 2024 exam will have 100 questions covering topics such as verbal and arithmetic reasoning, English language, and general awareness. The general awareness section includes questions on culture, current national and international affairs, trade and commerce, sports, scientific inventions and discoveries, travel, and tourism. Candidates will get one mark for each correct answer and no marks will be deducted for wrong answers. The duration of the exam is 90 minutes.
