Maharashtra Civil Service Exam 2024 registration starts from January 5 at mpsc.gov.in

The Maharashtra Public Service Commission is conducting the MCS 2024 exam for 274 vacancies of Group A and B posts.
NEW DELHI: The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) will start the registration process for the Maharashtra Civil Service (MCS) Exam 2024 through the official website, mpsc.gov.in. The registration process for State Services (205), Maharashtra Civil Engineering Services (26) and Maharashtra Forest Service (43) for Group-A and B posts will start on January 5, 2024.
Students will be able to register and pay the fee for the three exams till January 24, 2024. They can collect the copy of challan for payment of examination fee by challan in SBI till January 25, 2024. The last date for payment of examination fee by currency is January 28, 2024 during bank office hours.
The Maharashtra Gazetted Civil Services (Joint Preliminary Exam 2024) will be held on April 28, 2024. The State Service (Main Exam 2024) will be held from December 14 to 16, 2024. The Maharashtra Architectural Engineering Service (Main 2024) will be held on November 23, 2024 and Maharashtra Forest Service (Main 2024) will be conducted from December 28 to 31, 2024.
MCS exam 2024 application fee
Candidates belonging from the general category will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 544. Those from OBC, EWS, orphans and PwD categories will have to pay an application fee of Rs 344. The fee can only be made through debit, credit card, net banking or offline through e-challan. Those applying for the exam should be in the age group 18 years to 38 years.
