Maharashtra Class 11 Admission 2025: 9.62 lakh students registered so far; application closes on June 3

The Maharashtra school education department has recorded 9.62 lakh registrations for first-year junior colleges (FYJC) admissions 2025 so far. A total of 20,88,470 (20 lakh) seats will be filled through the Maharashtra Class 11 admission 2025. Of which, 1,807,597 seats are for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) round, and 213,373 seats are for quota seats.

Today, the state government extended the in-house quota rule for off campus schools belonging to the same management. Earlier, it was limited to students of schools sharing the campus with their junior colleges.

The Maharashtra FJYC admission counselling is being held for 9,342 junior colleges/higher secondary schools in the state. The last date to register on the official website, mahafyjcadmissions.in for round 1 is June 3.

After delaying the admission registration for five days, the application process began on May 26. On the first day, 2,58,887 students registered, on the second day, 2,07,612 students applied. On May 28, 1,44,057 students and on May 29, 1,51,733 students applied. 1.17 lakh and 82,000 submitted their application form in the last two days.
