Maharashtra Class 5, 8 scholarship result 2025 declared; overall pass percentage at 22.06%

Maharashtra Scholarship Result 2025: A total of 9,13,258 students appeared for the exam, out of which 2,01,417 have been declared qualified. The pass percentage for Class 5 stands at 23.90%, while for Class 8 it is 19.30%.
The Maharashtra State Council of Examinations (MSCE), Pune, has declared the final results of the pre-upper primary and pre-secondary scholarship exam conducted on February 9, 2025. Eligible students can check their Maharashtra Class 5 and 8 scholarship results 2025 through the official websites at mscepune.in and puppssmsce.in.
This year, the overall pass percentage stands at 22.06%. A total of 9,44,463 students registered for the scholarship exam, out of which 9,13,258 appeared, and 2,01,417 declared qualified. Among the qualified candidates, 31,786 have secured a place in the merit list.
For the Class 8 scholarship exam 2025, 3,78,095 students registered, and 3,65,754 appeared. Among them, 70,571 students have been declared eligible for scholarships, and 15,093 students are listed in the merit list. The result percentage for Class 8 is 19.30%.
A total of 5,66,368 students registered for the Class 5 scholarship exam, of which 5,47,504 appeared. The number of students eligible for scholarships in this category is 1,30,846, while 16,693 students have been included in the merit list. The result percentage for Class 5 stands at 23.90%.
Students can check their Maharashtra Class 5 and 8 scholarship results 2025 by entering their seat number and mother’s name on the official portals. Schools can view their students’ results using their login credentials.
The council states that scholarship certificates will be available only after students provide their bank account and Aadhaar number details. However, students can view their scholarship set details and qualification status from the published merit list.
