The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has published the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2026 round 1 cutoff for MBBS and BDS admissions under the state quota. The open category recorded the highest cut-off of 538 marks for government MBBS seats, while the cut-off for government BDS seats stood at 493 marks.

The Maharashtra NEET UG round 1 cutoff 2026 varies across categories and between government and private colleges. For private MBBS seats, the highest cutoff among the listed categories was 482 marks, recorded by both the open and EWS categories. In private BDS colleges, SBC candidates recorded the highest cutoff at 366 marks.

Maharashtra NEET UG 2026 round 1 cutoff

The government MBBS cutoff ranged from 384 (ST) to 538 (Open), while BDS cutoff ranged from 350 (ST) to 493 (Open).

Maharashtra NEET UG 2026 round 1 seat allotment

The CET Cell has allotted seats to 10,509 students in the first round of Maharashtra NEET UG counselling 2026. Of these, 8,065 candidates have been allotted MBBS seats against 8,129 available seats, while 2,444 candidates have been allotted BDS seats against 2,517 seats.

A total of 64 MBBS seats and 73 BDS seats reserved for Divyang and orphan categories remained vacant after round 1 of Maharashtra NEET UG seat allotment 2026 .

Candidates allotted seats in Round 1 must report to their respective colleges by 5:30 pm between August 31 and September 4, 2026, with their original documents and the required fee in the form of a demand draft to confirm admission.
