The overall standard of the paper was moderate. The questions were clear and direct in nature; however, the paper was slightly lengthy.

Around 16,15,489 students are set to appear for the Maharashtra SSC (Class 10) Board Examination 2026, including 8,65,740 boys, 7,49,736 girls, and 13 transgender candidates.

Students are required to score at least 33% marks in aggregate to pass the examination. Additionally, securing a minimum of 33% marks in each subject is mandatory to clear the Maharashtra Class 10 board exam.

Students appearing for the exam said that Coordinate Geometry was among the topics from which questions were asked in the paper.

• Maths Part 2 (Geometry theory): 40 marks
• Internal Assessment: 20 marks

The final score is calculated by combining marks from both theory papers and internal assessment.
