As per a senior Science paper teacher from Anjuman-i-Islam Allana English High School, Mumbai, the Maharashtra SSC Science Paper 2 was "thoughtfully framed" and encouraged students to apply their understanding rather than rely solely on rote memorisation.
Additionally, the paper was "easy" and provided a fair opportunity for "well-prepared" students to ace the exam, while also promoting "scientific reasoning and conceptual learning."
To clear the Maharashtra SSC board examination, students must secure at least 35% marks in each subject. In certain cases, students who miss the passing mark by two or three marks may receive grace marks, enabling them to achieve the minimum 35% qualifying requirement.
