Mahindra University, La Trobe University enter agreement for BTech civil engineering

Students will be eligible for scholarships worth 10,000 Australian dollars and post study work permit upon completing two years of study in Australia.
NEW DELHI: Students pursuing civil engineering in Mahindra University will now get an opportunity to complete the final two years of their undergraduate (UG) programme at the La Trobe University, Melbourne, in Australia. The two universities have signed an agreement to offer a joint degree in BTech Civil Engineering.
The Mahindra University read that students will be eligible for scholarships worth 10,000 Australian dollars offered by LaTrobe University. Upon completion of two years of study in Australia, students will get a post study work permit, the statement said.

The La Trobe University will also contribute to the curriculum of the civil engineering programme and provide students with exposure to an international academic framework, the university said. La Trobe University's bachelor of civil engineering (honours) programme is accredited by Engineers Australia (EA). The civil department of La Trobe University works on various infrastructure projects, including water, transportation, construction materials, and using machine learning for structural engineering.
Yajulu Medury, vice-chancellor of Mahindra University said: "The collaboration between both the universities signifies our commitment to providing world-class education and global exposure to our students. We believe that this initiative will equip our students with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their careers on a global scale."
“The agreement between Mahindra University and La Trobe University stands as a testament to their dedication to fostering international collaborations and promoting excellence in education,” the statement read.
