Manipal University Jaipur Convocation 2024: The in-person ceremony took place at the college campus on December 7.

NEW DELHI: Manipal University Jaipur hosted its 3rd convocation for online students on December 7, 2024. The in-person convocation ceremony took place at the Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) campus. As per the official press release, a total of 4,015 graduates were conferred degrees.
The graduates were enrolled in different online PG programmes including Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Computer Applications (MCA), Master of Commerce (MCom), and Master of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communication (MA JMC), as well as undergraduate programmes such as Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA).
NN Sharma, president of Manipal University Jaipur, inaugurated the convocation ceremony. Senior officials such as Mallikarjuna Gadapa, director of the Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE), Nitu Bhatnagar, registrar of Manipal University Jaipur, and Karunakar A Kotegar, pro-president of the university were also present in the Manipal University’s convocation ceremony The chief guest for the event was Anil Vohra, managing director at Accenture.
NN Sharma, president, Manipal University Jaipur, highlighted MUJ's focus on affordable, online education, serving 78,000 students, including over 6,000 international learners. He congratulated graduates and announced plans to introduce new certification programmes.
Sharma said, “At MUJ, we prioritize our students’ overall development by providing access to affordable, online education. As of today, 78,000 students have taken admission for our online programs, of which over 6,000 students are from different countries. In addition to our existing offerings in Management, Commerce, Computer Applications, and Mass Communication, we are excited to launch more forward-looking certification programs. I take this moment to congratulate all our online graduates and wish them all the success in their professional endeavors. I am honored to say that we will continue to be a part of your future journeys.”

Anil Vohra, chief guest, managing director, Accenture congratulated graduates, encouraging them to reflect on this milestone and pursue excellence not just in their work but in all aspects of life.
He said, “My hearty congratulations to all passing online graduates of Manipal University Jaipur. Today is a day of reflection, as it marks the end of an era, and the beginning of something new.
