Manipur HSLC result 2025 sees drop in performance with boys outperforming girls

91.37% students have cleared the Manipur Class 10 board exams 2025, less than last year’s pass percentage. The Board of Secondary Education, Manipur (BoSEM) has declared the High School Leaving Certificate (HLSC) results 2025. Candidates can check their Manipur HSLC exam result 2025 on the official website, manresults.nic.in.

A total of 37,052 students registered for the exam, of which, 36,943 appeared including 18,387 boys and 18,556 girls. Of total, 33,755 have been declared successful. 91.50% boys passed the exam while the pass percentage of girl students stands at 91.24%.

District-wise, Chandel recorded the highest pass rate of 100% followed by Bishnupur with 96.67% and Kakching with 95.52%.

Manipur Board informed that the Manipur Class 10th results 2025 of three candidates have been cancelled for impersonation and they have been debarred from appearing for exams in 2026, 2027, and 2028. Moreover, the board has withheld the results of nine students.

Among schools, private ones achieved a better pass rate of 94.15% than government schools and government-aided schools.

Schools can collect the Manipur Class 10 certificate-cum-grade statement from May 28. The provisional certificates for the HSLC exams 2025 will be issued to the candidates on May 14 on payment of Rs 1,500 and Rs 100 as the cost of application form.

Manipur HSLC Result 2025: Revaluation, photocopy of answer sheets

Students who are not satisfied with their BoSEM Class 10 results 2025 can apply for scrutiny of answer sheets from May 15 to 30 with a fee of Rs 2,100 per subject. “No application after the last date and also without the requisite fees shall be entertained. It may be noted that re-scrutiny of answer scripts does not mean re-evaluation/re-examination of the evaluated scripts,” the board said.

Unsuccessful candidates who want to sit in Manipur HSLC exams 2026 as regular candidate may be re-admitted to Class 10 in their respective schools within 45 days of the date of announcement of the results. The schools will have to send the names of such newly admitted students to the board within 60 days of the result announcement. Internal marks for these re-admitted students are to be entered in the application form.
