MAT 2021: CBT phase 1 registration closes today; Know how to register

NEW DELHI: All India Management Association (AIMA) is going to close the MAT registration process for computer-based test (CBT) phase 1 on August 14, 2021. Students can fill the MAT 2021 registration form for CBT in online mode at mat.aima.in. In order to complete the MAT application form 2021, students have to pay a fee of Rs 1,650. AIMA will conduct the Management Aptitude Test CBT phase 1 for the September session on August 21, 2021. The admit card for the same will be released on August 17, 2021.

Before filling the MAT 2021 registration form, students should know about the exam. The MAT exam is conducted four times a year to enroll in MBA programmes offered at various MAT participating institutes. Due to the prevailing COVID-19 situation, AIMA is also conducting the MAT examination in remote proctored internet-based mode.

MAT 2021 CBT phase 1 dates

• Last date to submit the MAT application form: August 14, 2021

• Availability of MAT admit card for CBT phase 1: August 17, 2021

• MAT CBT phase 1 exam date: August 21, 2021

MAT 2021 CBT - Eligibility criteria

• Students must have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ ST/ PwD) in any discipline from a recognized University.

• The final-year students are also eligible to appear for the MAT exam.

• There is no age limit for MAT 2021.

How to fill MAT application form for CBT mode

For MAT 2021 registration, students can follow the steps given below.

• Step 1: Go to the official website of AIMA MAT 2021, mat.aima.in.

• Step 2: Register by providing the following details:

  • Name of the candidate

  • Date of birth of the candidate

  • Email id

  • Mobile number of the candidate

  • State/ UT

• Step 3: Enter the OTP received on your registered email id/ mobile number.

• Step 4: After logging in, provide all the personal and academic details.

• Step 5: Choose the MAT exam mode, test city preference, and mode of payment.

• Step 6: Pay an application fee of Rs 1,650 via online mode.

• Step 7: Next, upload the scanned photograph and signature.

• Step 8: Choose the preferred colleges out of the list of participating colleges.

• Step 9: Finally, click on the ‘Submit button.

About MAT 2021

Management Aptitude Test (MAT 2021) is a national-level management entrance examination that is conducted to provide admission to MBA/ PGDM in over 600 B-schools. The MAT has 5 sections, each section having 40 questions with a total of 200 questions to be attempted in 150 minutes (2.5 hours).
