NEW DELHI: Common Admission Test (CAT) is one of the most preferred and famous MBA entrance examinations that is accepted by almost 90 percent of the top-level institutes spread across the country. However, the exam has its own facets and is famous among the management aspirants for its difficulty level. While this IIM administered entrance, CAT, acts as a gateway to IIMs, FMS, MDI, there are other top MBA entrance exams as well that open gates of top MBA colleges such as XLRI, XIMB, NMIMS, IIFT, etc.

These top management entrances are XAT, IIFT, CMAT, SNAP among others.

XAT 2022

Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI) Jamshedpur is the conducting body of the Xavier Aptitude Test. XAT is conducted as a computer-based test. Over 1 lakh candidates appear for XAT every year. There are over 160 institutes that accept XAT scores, some of the top ones being XLRI, IMT, XIMB, TAPMI, etc. XAT 2022 registration can be done till November 30 and the exam date is January 02.

IIFT MBA IB Entrance Test 2022

National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the IIFT entrance exam, on behalf of the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, Delhi. The IIFT exam is institute-specific and has campuses in Delhi, Kolkata, and Kakinada. MBA (International Business) is a flagship programme of IIFT. The IIFT registrations are ongoing and candidates can apply at iift.nta.nic.in.

CMAT 2022

Common Management Admission Test or CMAT is taken by over 1.5 lakh candidates every year and is most common among MBA aspirants. The conducting body for the CMAT exam is also NTA. CMAT score is accepted by all AICTE approved institutes/ colleges such as BIMS, SIMSREE, K J Somaiya Mumbai, Welingkar Mumbai, PUMBA Pune, Great Lakes Chennai, BIMTECH Greater Noida among others. The expected CMAT exam date is February 22, 2022.

SNAP 2021

Symbiosis International University (SIU), Pune conducts Symbiosis National Aptitude Test, popularly known as SNAP every year as a computer-based test. This year SNAP 2021 score will be accepted by 15 institutes under SIU. Some of these institutes are SIBM (Pune), SICSR, SIMC Pune, SIIB, SCMHRD, and many more. The last date to fill SNAP 2021 application form is November 27 and the exam will be conducted on three test dates, December 19, 2021, January 08, and January 16, 2022.

MAT 2021/2022

AIMA conducts Management Aptitude Test (MAT) for admission to MBA/ PGDM programmes in over 600 B-schools across the country. The level of the MAT exam is on an easier side as compared to other mentioned MBA entrances. The MAT exam is held four times a year in the months of February, May, September, and December. The test has introduced internet-based test (IBT) mode along with paper-based and computer-based modes since the covid pandemic. MAT December dates are to be out yet and will be valid for admission to the academic batch of 2022-24.
