NEW DELHI: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) 2024 has reduced the qualifying percentile to 21.692 across all categories, as per the official notification dated September 17, 2024, issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW). Following this change, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued a new schedule for the special stray vacancy round of NEET MDS 2024.
As per the official schedule, the registration and payment process for the MCC NEET MDS 2024 special stray vacancy round of counselling will begin on October 14, 2024, for all India quota, deemed, and central universities. The last date to complete the registration process is October 16 till 3 pm. Candidates can make payments until 6 pm on the same day.
Eligible candidates who qualified the medical entrance test can register for NEET MDS 2024 special stray vacancy round counselling through the official website, mcc.nic.in. “Candidates already holding a seat/ joined through AIQ or State counselling including private/Deemed quota seats are not eligible to participate in Special Stray Vacancy Round of MCC,” the official notice read.
NEET MDS 2024 Counselling 2024: Choice-filling Schedule
Candidates will be able to exercise the choice-filling process for the seat preferences from October 14 to October 17, 2024, till 8 pm. Choice locking will be open on October 16 and 17 till 8 pm. The committee will commence the seat allotment process on October 17, 2024.
The seat allotment result for the MCC NEET MDS 2024 special stray vacancy round of counselling will be announced on October 18, 2024. Candidates who secure a seat will need to report to their allotted colleges between October 19, 2024, and October 25, 2024, by 5 pm.
