The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the final seat matrix for the NEET MDS counselling 2025. There are a total of 1,574 seats available for postgraduate dental courses in India. The NEET MDS 2025 counselling registration link is live on the official website, mcc.nic.in.
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has declared the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test - Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS 2025) results on May 15. This year, a total of 30,435 candidates registered for the exam.
The NEET MDS cut-off 2025 has been reduced slightly for all categories. As per the minimum qualifying marks, general and EWS category candidates with 261 marks under the 50th percentile, General-PwD candidates with 244 marks under the 45th percentile, and SC, ST, and OBC-NCL candidates with 227 marks under the 40th percentile will be eligible.
The NEET MDS counselling registration for round 1 will be open till June 30. Candidates are required to fill their choice of courses and colleges before the deadline and pay the application fee. The MCC will conduct four rounds of NEET MDS counselling — round 1, round 2, round 3, and stray vacancy round for the following seats.
Delhi University – Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences (DU-MAIDS), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), and Banaras Hindu University are the central universities participating in the MCC counselling.
