MCC NEET PG 2025 round 1 choice filling extended till further notice; PwD portal active till November 8

Use NowThe Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the National Eligibility Entrance Test - Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2025 choice filling for round 1 till further notice. The decision follows updates from the National Medical Commission (NMC) regarding changes in PG seats and the National Board of Examinations (NBE) withdrawing 169 PG DNB seats after the counselling process began.
MCC further notified that it is revising the seat matrix to remove excess seats and reapply the roster system to ensure reservation policies are followed as per the official information bulletin. The revised seat matrix and schedule for the NEET PG round 1 counselling 2025 will be uploaded on the MCC website at mcc.nic.in. The schedules for State PG Counselling will also be updated accordingly.
“This is to inform all candidates that the Choice Filling for Round-1 of PG Counselling 2025 has been extended until further notice. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official MCC website,” the official notice said.
Recently, MCC removed 73 postgraduate seats from the NEET PG 2025 seat matrix , with 39 in Gujarat, 12 in Jammu and Kashmir, four in Telangana, nine in Uttar Pradesh, two in West Bengal, and seven in Chhattisgarh.
NEET PG Counselling 2025: PwD certificate deadline November 8
The committee has further informed that the Person with Disability (PwD) portal for the generation of PwD certificates for NEET PG 2025 round 1 counselling is now active. Candidates seeking PwD certificates can access the portal till 5 pm on November 8, 2025.
Eligible PwD candidates are also asked to visit the designated disability centres of MCC to obtain their certificates in accordance with the eligibility criteria specified under NMC norms.
As per the earlier NEET PG counselling schedule, the deadline for round 1 choice filling was November 5, and the seat allotment result was scheduled for November 8.
