The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will commence the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2025 counselling round 1 choice filling and locking from November 17 onwards. Candidates can fill in their choices on the official website, mcc.nic.in. MCC NEET PG counselling 2025 round 1 allotment results will be announced on November 20.
Candidates who have been shortlisted through the NEET PG merit list can participate in the counselling process. Candidates who will be allotted seats will have to report to their allotted college by November 27 to confirm their admissions.
MCC conducts NEET PG counselling 2025 for All India Quota and 100% deemed, central universities for the academic year 2025.
Recently, MCC removed 73 postgraduate seats from the NEET PG seat matrix 2025, including 39 in Gujarat, 12 in Jammu and Kashmir, 4 in Telangana, 9 in Uttar Pradesh and 2 in West Bengal and 7 in Chhattisgarh.
Earlier, the total number of seats available for NEET PG 2025 counselling was 28,663, covering MD, MS, Postgraduate Diploma (PG Diploma), and DNB programmes under different quotas.

The steps to modify NEET PG 2025 round 1 admission preferences are as follows.
As per the revised MCC NEET PG counselling 2025 schedule, the seat matrix verification by participating institutes for round 2 will be announced on December 1, and registration will begin on December 2. The choice filling and locking will be held between December 3 to 7, and the process of seat allotment will be announced on December 8 to 9. The round 2 seat allotment results will be announced on December 10.
