MCC NEET UG 2025 round 2 counselling from August 29; revised schedule shortly

MCC NEET UG 2025 Counselling: Candidates will have to enter their NEET UG 2025 roll number and password to register for the round 2 counselling session.
The MCC NEET UG 2025 round 2 counselling will begin from August 29, the National Medical Commission (NMC) said in an official notification. It has also notified that the revised schedule for the NEET UG 2025 round 2 counselling will be announced shortly.
Earlier, the
NEET UG 2025 counselling round 2
registration was supposed to begin on August 22. However, it has been delayed as the deadline for resignation of seats for MCC round 1 is extended till August 25.
Now, the MCC has announced that it will begin the registration and choice filling for the MCC NEET UG 2025 counselling round 2 from August 29.
The MCC conducts the medical counselling for admission to 15% All India Quota seats for the MBBS, BDS in government-aided medical institutes. It also conducts the counselling for 100% seats in deemed or private medical colleges.
MCC NEET UG 2025 Counselling: Will the delay affect seat matrix?
Since the admission process for each round follow similar steps, a candidate's choice of resignation, upgradation, and seat acceptance will affect the NEET UG seat matrix for the upcoming rounds.
In addition, the seat allotment results for NEET UG 2025 counselling for round 1 was declared on August 12 after repeated extension from the MCC. Earlier, the round 1 allotment list was scheduled for August 3.
Candidates who have not been allotted colleges in round 1 or have chosen the option for subsequent round of allotment for MBBS, BDS admission, will be able to check the round 2 counselling schedule through the official website at mcc.nic.in once released.
The MCC conducts the NEET UG 2025 counselling for admission to UG medical courses within three rounds, along with a stray round.
Each round will have similar process of admission, which includes registration, choice filling, seat allotment, reporting, registration or withdrawal from allotted seats.
