Meghalaya Board to follow CBSE Class 11, 12 syllabus for 3 subjects

NEW DELHI: The Meghalaya Board of Secondary Education (MBOSE) has announced that CBSE syllabus will be followed for MP Class 11, 12 for three subjects . The three subjects are physical education, sociology and psychology.

The Meghalaya board has recommended CBSE and NCERT textbooks for Class 11 and 12 students. The new syllabus for Class 11 will commence from the academic year 2023-24, and the new syllabus for Class 12 will start from the next academic year in 2024-25.

The decision to follow CBSE syllabus was taken at the 141st board meeting. All students registered for MBOSE exam 2024 can download the CBSE and NCERT textbook from the official website of CBSE at cbse.nic.in, official website of CBSE academics at cbseacademic.nic.in, and the official website of NCERT at ncert.nic.in.

MBOSE Class 11 textbooks

As per the official notice, the board recommended Class 11, 12 students to download the following CBSE and NCERT textbooks.

• Physical education, Class 11, published by CBSE

• Psychology, Class 11, published by NCERT

• Introducing sociology, Class 11, published by NCERT

• Understanding society, Class 11, published by NCERT

MBOSE Class 12 textbooks

• Physical education, Class 12, published by CBSE

• Psychology, Class 12, published by NCERT

• Indian society, Class 12, published by NCERT

• Social change and development in India, Class 12, published by NCERT

All MBOSE Class 11 and 12 students are advised that the existing syllabus and textbooks will be used for other subjects until further notice is issued in reference to this.
