A total of 8 candidates have been allotted seats in the first round of Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS) under the Meghalaya NEET PG counselling 2025 . Candidates are provisionally allotted seats based on merit under NEIGRIHMS and the North East open category.
NEIGRIHMS states that one seat each in the departments of anatomy, forensic medicine, microbiology, and biochemistry remains vacant under the NEIGRIHMS pass-out category, as no candidate opted for them.

“Under the North East open category, one seat each in the departments of forensic medicine, microbiology, pathology, ophthalmology, pharmacology, anesthesiology, and physiology remains vacant for the same reason”, the official notification reads.
Meghalaya NEET PG 2025 Counselling: Report by December 3
As per the schedule, candidates allotted seats in Meghalaya NEET PG round 1 must report to their assigned college and submit their seat acceptance, declaration, and the admission fee of Rs 69,000 on or before December 3.
“Failure to report, accept the seat, or complete admission formalities by the deadline will cancel the allotment, and the seat will be filled up in the round 2 counselling without further notice”, the notification added.
During document verification, candidates should produce a valid photo ID, their NEET PG admit card and scorecard, seat allotment letter, Class 12 mark sheet, state domicile and reservation certificates, and category certificate.
The Meghalaya NEET PG round 2 counselling schedule will be notified at a later date. The academic session for 2025 is scheduled to begin on December 22.
