Mewar University student wins gold, silver medal at 8th international yog asana championship 2023

Bappa Burman won gold in traditional yoga and silver in artistic yoga at 8th International Yog Asana Championship 2023 held in Bangkok from March 27 to 30.
NEW DELHI: A student at Mewar University, Bappa Burman has won a gold medal in traditional yoga and a silver in the artistic event of yoga at the 8th International Yog Asana Championship 2023. The event was held in Bangkok city, Thailand from March 27 to 30, 2023.
Participants from as many as 23 countries took part in the championship. Mewar University, chancellor, Ashok Kumar Gadiya and vice-chancellor Alok MIshra, congratulated Burman on his achievements and making country proud and spreading his talent at the international level.

While speaking about Burman's achievement, Mewar University, chancellor, Ashok Kumar Gadiya said: "He was interested in sports from the beginning hence chose yoga at the undergraduate level at Mewar University and learned the nuances of yoga under the guidance of faculty head Ms. Surbhi Sharma and practiced rigorously. As a result, today he achieved this position internationally. As soon as the information of this victory spread in the University, there has been a wave of happiness all across.
In recent news, Mewar university admission in UG and PG programmes for the year 2023-24 has commenced. Students interested in applying for BTech, BBA, BDes, BA LLB, BBA LLB, LLM, MBA, .Sc, MA, MCA, among other programmes can apply till September 15, 2023.
