NEW DELHI: The State CET Cell, Maharashtra will release the admission brochures for 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB programmes soon on its official website. It will conduct a Centralized Admission Process (CAP), also known as MH CET law counselling 2022, for all candidates who secure non-zero CET scores. The MH CET law 2022 counselling will be held online, on the common admission portal of the CET examination.

The CET LLB scores are accepted by over 140 government and self-financed law colleges and universities in Maharashtra. Therefore, the exam authorities conduct centralized counselling for all law colleges. Candidates who appear in the counselling have the option to select the law colleges in the order of preference. And, the allotment of seats is based on the candidate’s performance in MH CET law 2022 and college preference.
Eligible candidates will have to visit the counselling portal once the CAP application form beings. They will have to upload all the documents. The list of documents required for counselling is mentioned below.

An expert committee of CET Cell verifies the document submitted by the candidates. It will update the status of document verification online. Final document verification is conducted by the allotted law college. Candidates are also required to submit the counselling fee. The MH CET law counselling fee for general/SBC/NT/VJ/DT would be Rs. 3,000. Whereas, SC/ST and OBC are required to pay Rs. 1,000.
Based on the document submitted by the candidates and their CET marks, the CET Cell prepare a provisional merit list and uploads it on the counselling portal.
Candidates will be allowed to raise objections against the provisional merit list. After considering all the objections, a final merit list is published.
The final merit list is used for college allotment. The college allotment is announced in multiple rounds, depending on the number of available seats. It is based on merit cum preference criteria. Candidates who are allotted seats will have to complete the admission process by reporting to the allotted law college. Alternatively, they can opt for participating in the next round of counselling allotment to get a preferred law college.

The CET Cell has announced both 3-year LLB results and 5-year LLB results. Candidates can download their scorecards using their application number and date of birth.
