MH CET LLB 5-year 2024 registration begins; apply by February 18

NEW DELHI: The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has started the registration for Maharashtra 5-year LLB Common Entrance Test (MAH CET) 2024. Eligible students can fill the MH CET LLB 5-year application form 2024 on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org. The deadline to apply for the entrance exam is February 18. The CET cell will tentatively conduct the MAH 5-year LLB CET 2024 on May 3, 2024.

The application fee for candidates belonging to the open category, EWS category from Maharashtra and outside Maharashtra, all India candidates of all categories and Jammu-Kashmir migrants is Rs 1,000. Applicants belonging to SC, ST, and backward categories as well as orphans and transgender candidates are required to pay Rs 800. Students can make the fee payment online through debit card, credit card, internet banking, IMPS, or mobile wallets.

Candidates will have to upload the following documents while applying for the exam if applicable:

• Caste certificate, caste validity certificate and non-creamy layer certificate
• Economically Weaker Section (EWS) certificate
• Persons with Disability (Pwd) certificate

The CET cell instructed candidates having valid caste certificate and caste validity certificate from Maharashtra state and valid non-creamy layer Certificate valid up to March 31, 2025 and belonging to Maharashtra state to only apply under the backward class category while filling the application form.

MH CET LLB 5-year CET 2024: Important instructions

The CET cell issued some guidelines regarding photograph and signature which are as follows:

Photograph

• Photograph must be a recent, passport size, color picture.
• The picture should be in color, taken against a light-colored, preferably white background.
• Ensure there are no shadows or 'red-eye'
• If you wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections and your eyes can be clearly seen.
• Photographs taken wearing caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious headwear is allowed but it must not cover your face.
• Dimension of 200 x 230 pixels is preferred.
• Size of photo file should be between 20KB-50KB.
• Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 50KB. If the size of the file is more than 50KB, then adjust the settings of the scanner such as the DPI resolution, number of colors etc. during the process of scanning.
• Candidate should also ensure that photo is uploaded at the place of photo.

Signature

• The applicant has to sign on white paper with black ink pen.
• The signature must be signed only by the applicant and not by any other person.
• The applicant's signature on the attendance sheet at the time of the exam should match with the uploaded signature. In case of mismatch of signature, the applicant may be disqualified.
• Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels is preferred.
• Size of file should be between 10KB-20KB.
• Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 20KB.
• Signature in capital letters will not be accepted.
• Candidates should ensure that the signature uploaded is clearly visible
