MH DPN, PHN CET 2024 registration begins today; exam on May 25

NEW DELHI: Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (CET) cell has announced that MH DPN and MH PHN CET 2024 for admission to first-year Diploma in Psycatric Nursing (DPN) and Public Health Nursing (PHN) courses will be conducted tentatively on May 25. The registration for MH DPN CET 2024 and MH PHN CET 2024 will begin today, April 16. Eligible candidates can apply for the exams on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org.
The last date to apply for the exams is April 30. The exam will be held at the various examination centers across four major districts – Mumbai, Pune, Sambhaji Nagar (Aurangabad) and Nagpur.
The eligibility criteria for the exam are as follows:
- Candidate must have passed the SSC and HSC or equivalent exam from Maharashtra board
- Candidate who has passed the qualifying examination, GNM or Basic BSc Nursing from an institute in Maharashtra is eligible.
- Candidate must be registered with Maharashtra Nursing Council and should possess valid registration certificate.
- Candidate nurses in government, corporation, private hospital service with at least five years of experience in the post of staff nurse as on the date of admission are eligible.
- Candidate must not be older than 50 years as on July 31, 2024.
In order to apply, candidates belonging to the general and EWS category from Maharashtra and all outside Maharashtra state will have to pay Rs 1,000. The application fee for backward class candidates is Rs 800. Orphan and other gender applicants will have to make payment of Rs 800.
MH DPN, PHN CET 2024 question paper will contain a total of 100 multiple choice questions. The duration of the exam will be 90 minutes. Each question will carry one mark. There will be no negative marking.
