NEW Delhi, JUNE 24: DTE Maharashtra has published the final merit list of MHT CET 2018. Candidates can now check their name and roll number in the merit list to see if they are qualified for allotment of seats. The final merit list has been prepared after taking into consideration all of the grievances and feedback submitted by the candidates. The provisional merit list was released on June 21 and the grievances could be submitted from June 22 to 23, 2018.

Steps to access the Merit List

  • The link to the final merit list is present in the official website of Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra.

  • Click on “Check Merit List Status” Tab

  • Candidates will have to enter their application ID and date of birth to check the final merit list.

  • The merit list will be displayed after the candidates successfully submit the required credentials.

  • A print out of the merit list has to be taken out by the candidates since it will be required for further admission process.

It has to noted that the merit list will be released separately for each of the categories – All India/Maharashtra/J&K Migrant/NRI/PIO/OCI/CIWGC/FN candidates. The candidates will have to remember that being present in the merit list will not guarantee admissions. Allotment of seats will be done according to the ranking of the candidates in the released merit list. Higher ranked candidates will be allotted first and will have more chances of getting admissions into the preferred choice of colleges and programmes.

What after final merit list?

The candidates will have to fill in their preferred choices of colleges and courses in online mode. Allotment will be done according to the candidates’ merit and selected choices. The allotment status will be available online. The first allotment result will be announced on June 29, 2018.
