NEW DELHI, MAY 25: Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra has published the provisional answer key of MHT CET 2018. Finally, the candidates will be able to check the correct answers to the questions asked in the exam through the released answer key and calculate their probable scores. The answer key is made available only in online mode. Since the answer key has been released, the candidates will also be able to access their scanned OMR answer sheet from May 26 to June 2 and again from June 5 to 7, 2018. Objections to the provisional answer key can be raised till May 27.

How to calculate probable scores using the provisional answer key?
Candidates can follow the simple steps given below to download and use the available answer key:
After downloading, the candidates will have to compare the correct answers in the answer key with the recorded responses of the candidates. OMR sheets can be used for this purpose.
While assigning marks, the official marking scheme has to be used by the candidates.
The total marks will be the probable secured scores of the candidates.
If the candidates feel that there are objections to be raised against the released answer key, then they may do so till May 27. The objections have to be sent through their individual log in IDs. Any other mode of objection submission will not be accepted by the authorities. A format, which has been prepared by the authorities, has to be followed by the candidates while submitting their challenge to the answer key.

Before the provisional answer key was released, various coaching centres had also published their own answer key and solutions to the examination. By using the answer key, the candidates will be able to estimate the scores they might secure in the examination before the result is announced. DTE Maharashtra will be announcing the result of MHT CET on or before June 3, 2018.
