New Delhi, June 3: Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra has released the result of MHT CET 2018 in online mode. Candidates who appeared in the exam can check and print out the result by logging in using their application number and password. The result has been released in the form of score-card. MHT CET result 2018 contain details like sectional score and the aggregate score of the candidate. DTE Maharashtra also announced the names of the exam toppers on June 2. Abhang Aditya Subhash has been named the first ranker in PCM amongst boys and Reserved Category with 195 marks while Gandhi Mona Bhupendra has grabbed the top spot amongst girls with 189 marks.

After checking the result, candidates can check the cutoff of MHT CET to know the colleges and courses available to them for admission purpose. Candidates who will not be able to meet the cutoff prescribed will have fewer chances of admission in comparison to those who have marks equivalent or more than the cutoff.
What after result?
Candidates who have qualified in the exam will be invited for counselling. The process of counselling will be held in 3 rounds. To participate in counselling, candidates shortlisted will have to register for it and undergo document verification on the scheduled day. The seat allotment process of MHT CET will be done through Centralized Allotment Process (CAP).
Candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of their merit and preference of seats. Such candidates will have to freeze, float or slide their allotted seats according to their choice.
