MHT CET 2020 day 1 concludes; paper of moderate difficulty

NEW DELHI: Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Cell commenced MHT CET 2020 examination today for PCM group. The entrance examination for the first day was held at various exam centres as a computer based test. The three hour long paper was seen by many students as that of moderate difficulty. MHT CET 2020 was held in two sessions today - 9 AM to 12 Noon and 2 PM to 5 PM.
According to the students, MHT CET 2020 paper for day 1 was of moderate difficulty. Mathematics was tough and lengthy while Physics was moderate. Chemistry was seen as the easiest subject. However, some students claimed that Chemistry was also a tough subject to deal with during the examination.
In the Mathematics section, most of the questions were from topics such as integration, vector 3D, differential calculus and trigonometry. Motion, kinetic theory, semiconductors and electrostatics were seen in the Physics section while Chemistry had more questions from kinetics, states of matter, electrochemistry and p, d and f-block Elements.
Many of the students also complained about problems during the entrance examination due to the power outrage in Mumbai. Complaints were seen being made at various social media platforms towards the authorities regarding power failure.

MHT CET 2020 will next be conducted on October 13, 14, 15, 16, 19 and 20 for PCM.
