NEW DELHI: State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has published the MHT CET mock test for both PCM and PCB groups on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org. Along with the MHT CET mock test link 2024, the CET Cell has given an opportunity to add groups in the application form and the facility will be available till today.
The MHT CET 2024 for physics, chemistry and mathematics or biology (PCM or PCB) groups will be held from May 2 and will continue till May 17. Candidates seeking admission to undergraduate engineering courses will have to appear in PCM course and those wishing to pursue pharmacy and agriculture courses will have to appear in PCB group.
“The facility to add group PCM/PCB will be open on 27th April 2024 from 12:00 AM To 23:59 PM,” the latest update read.
Moreover, the State CET Cell informed that there will be no exam on May 5 in view of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET UG 2024). However, requests sent to the officials to change MHT CET PCM date for individual reasons were accepted till April 26.
Last year, 6,36,804 candidates registered for the MHT CET exam, of which 5,91,135 appeared in the exam.
MHT CET exam pattern 2024
As per the schedule, both MHT CET PCM and PCB will be held in computer-based test (CBT) mode in two shifts. Morning shift will begin at 9 am and will end at 12 noon and afternoon shift will be conducted between 2 pm to 5 pm.
The MHT CET question paper will be based on the syllabus of State Council of Educational Research and Training Maharashtra. Approximately 20% weightage will be given to Class 11 curriculum and 80% weightage for Class 12 curriculum. The questions will be mostly application based, the CET Cell informed.
