NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will resume the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 session 2 from April 7, following the completion of the initial phase held from April 2 to 4. The testing agency has released the JEE Main admit card 2025 for all scheduled exams. Engineering aspirants can download the JEE Main 2025 admit card from the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in. To access the JEE Main 2025 admit card, candidates will have to log in using their application number and password.
As per the JEE Main paper analysis of the sessions held so far, the overall difficulty level has been moderate. The mathematics section was relatively tougher, with some questions being lengthy and requiring more time to solve. Physics and chemistry sections in JEE Main 2025 session 2 were considered moderate by most students.
The day-wise paper analysis for JEE main 2025 session 2 exams conducted on April 2, 3 and 4 is given below.
JEE Main 2025 April 2 Paper Analysis: As per Careers360’s experts, JEE Mains 2025 session 2 exam conducted on April 2 was easy as compared to the January session exam. Students found the maths paper less lengthy than the January session, while physics and chemistry were moderately difficult.
The JEE Main April 2 Maths paper had higher weightage from topics such as Coordinate Geometry, Integration, Vectors and 3D, Conic Sections, and Hyperbola. In the Physics section, two questions were asked from Unit and Dimension, and Rotational Motion. Coordination Compounds, Thermodynamics, and Solutions carried more weightage in the Chemistry section.
JEE Main 2025 April 3 Paper Analysis: The JEE Main 2025 session 2 day 2 exam was moderate in difficulty compared to the January session and last year’s paper. While students found the chemistry section easy in the April 3 shift 1 exam, it turned out to be more challenging in the later shifts and tougher than previous sessions. The overall difficulty level of the mathematics and physics section was easy to moderate.
JEE Main 2025 April 4 Paper Analysis: Students found the JEE Main 2025 April 4 paper to be more balanced in terms of subject-wise distribution and overall difficulty. In JEE Main 2025 day 3 shift 1, the mathematics section was lengthy and challenging, while physics and chemistry were relatively easier. In shift 2, two questions from modern physics and one from ray optics were of JEE Advanced level, according to students.
