NEW DELHI : The state Common Entrance Test (CET) cell, Maharashtra will close the registration window for MHT CET counselling 2024 today, July 24, for admission to BE, BTech courses for the academic year 2024-25. Candidates can apply for the Centalised Admission Process (CAP) 2024 by visiting the official website, fe2024.mahacet.org.
The application fee for general category candidates is Rs 1,000 while the applicants belonging to reserved categories such as SC, ST will have to pay Rs 800. The application fee for children of NRI, OCI, PIO, foreign national will be required to make payment of Rs 10,000. The fee payment can be done via credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI.
Those aspirants who have already registered for MHT CET 2024 need not pay the admission registration fee. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria for the type of candidature before applying for BTech counselling.
As per the counselling schedule, the last date for document verification and confirmation of application form is July 25. The provisional merit list will be issued on July 27.
How to apply for MHT CET counselling 2024?
Students can follow the steps given below to fill the CAP application form:
- Go to the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org
- Click on the link ‘new registration’
- Enter the required details and register yourselves
- Login with generated credentials and fill the application form
- Pay the application fee and upload the required documents
- Download the confirmation page and take a print out

Applicants will be required to upload the following documents at the time of registration:
- Class 10 marksheet
- Class 12, diploma, BSc marksheet
- Qualifying exam marksheet
- CET/JEE / NEET / NATA/ CUET / GATE / GPAT / NEEMS marksheet
- School leaving certificate
- Indian nationality certificate
- Equivalence certificate from Maharashtra state board of technical education
- Caste certificate
- EWS certificate
- Defence service certificate
- Domicile certificate
- Certificates required based on candidature
