NEW DELHI: The State Common Entrance Test Cell will release the provisional seat allotment result for the second round of the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) counselling 2024 for BE, BTech programmes today, August 26. Candidates who registered for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) 2024 will be able to check their seat allotment status on the official website, fe2024.mahacet.org.
As per the counselling schedule, applicants will have to accept the allotted seats and report to the allotted institutes between August 27 and August 29. The seats will be allotted on the basis of the choices filled by the candidates.
Students who are allotted a seat for the first time in round 2 will have to self-verify the seat allotment by accepting declaration through login and certifying that their claim related with qualifying marks, category, gender, reservation, specific reservation etc. made by candidate in the application form are correct and relevant documents uploaded to substantiate the claims are authentic and correct.
Candidates who have been allotted a seat other than their first preference in this round and want to upgrade in the subsequent rounds must claim the allotted seat by accepting that seat by choosing ‘Not Freeze’ option and paying the seat acceptance fee through login.
It is mandatory for all the applicants who pay the seat acceptance fee to report to the allotted institute for confirmation of admission. The institute will verify the required documents and upload the admission of the candidates in the online system through institute login immediately and will issue a system generated receipt of admission confirmation and fee paid receipt to the candidate.
“If it is found that seat allotted to the candidate is on the false claims made in the applications by the candidate, then institute shall not admit such a candidate and such candidate shall raise the grievance by his/her login,” said the cell.
