MHT CET 2026: Register without Aadhaar, APAAR ID authentication from Feb 13 onwards

The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell Maharashtra has allowed candidates to register for the MHT CET 2026 exam without Aadhaar and APAAR ID from February 13 onwards. The move comes after students were unable to complete Aadhaar and

APAAR authentication due to “technical or other genuine issues” for MHT CET 2026 registration.

The State CET Cell has also extended the registration deadline for MHT CET 2026 PCB and PCM, MBA and MMS to February 20.

MHT CET 2026 PCM and PCB first attempt exams will be held from April 6 to 8, while the second attempt has been scheduled for May 9.

Also, MHT CET 2026 MHMCT, and MCA application last date has been extended to February 18. MHT CET 2026 MHMCT and MCA exams are scheduled on March 25 and 30, respectively.

“In view of this, and to ensure that no eligible candidate is inconvenienced or deprived of filling the CET registration form, necessary facilitation measures are being provided for such candidates,” the official CET Cell notice read.

Eligible candidates can apply for MHT CET 2026 registrations on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org.

MHT CET 2026: Students faced issues while registering

Earlier, the State Cell commissioner Dileep Sardesai had addressed a conference and responded to the challenges faced by students during MHT CET 2026 registration , stating that no candidates will be “barred” from the exam even if there is a mismatch of details.

The State CET Cell mandated the Aadhaar number and APAAR ID for the MHT CET 2026 application form filling. Candidates were advised to ensure that all the Aadhaar details with a recent photograph and the mobile number linked to Aadhaar are updated.
