NEW DELHI: MICA has recorded 100 percent placements and an increase of 42 percent in the average package since 2021 for its 28th batch of PGDM and PGDM-Communications programmes. The institute has witnessed a steep increase in new recruiters as 77 companies partnered with MICA of which 56 percent were new recruiters.
There were 39 offers from companies in the Analytics, Banking, and Consulting sectors, 32 offers from a mix of companies. About 31 offers were from the IT sector, while 30 offers from FMCG companies.
As per the MICA official release, the institute has also recorded a 12 percent increase in its median CTC, from 17 lakhs per annum last year to 19 lakhs per annum this year. There is an increase in average CTC which went up from 14 lakhs in 2021 to 20 lakhs this year. The average CTC of the top 50 percent of the students this year was recorded at 23.82 lakhs.
The institute has also recorded an increase in pre-placement offers (PPOs) through summer placements and corporate competitions. A total of 31 students of the institute has bagged the PPOs.
