The institute has opened applications for its 2021-23 batch for the flagship 2-year PGP programme (Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Communication and Post-Graduate Diploma in Management).
Candidates who wish to take admissions in MBA programme and had missed the opportunity to appear in MICAT-1 can now appear for MICAT-2, to be held on January 30, 2021.
The MICAT-1 was held on December 5 and received a very positive response by the students. Despite extremely challenging conditions, the turn-out across 45 centers was over 90%.
Speaking about the online examination, Shailendra Raj Mehta, President and Director, MICA, said, “When one door closes, another door opens. Do not focus on the closed door; MICAT -2 is there for you.”
MICAT, a computer-based test, is conducted twice a year, and the better of the two scores is considered as a student may choose to write both MICAT I and II. It is noteworthy that students who have already appeared for MICAT -1, can also choose to take MICAT-2 and the best one of the two scores will be selected for the admission process.
This year, the institute has reduced its entrance exam duration, MICAT, by 30 minutes. The duration of MICAT has been reduced from 2 hours 45 minutes to 2 hours 15 minutes for the current year.
